Professor Pierre Pienaar
Planet Protector adviser Professor Pierre Pienaar uses his incredible knowledge and experience to help us create packaging solutions that work.
In 1984, after completing his pharmacy studies and joining a large pharmaceutical company, Pierre became concerned about the abundant packaging-related issues in the industry. He became so passionate about the issue that he flew all over the world in his bid to research it.
And still does so today.
Professor Pienaar regularly attends international congresses and conferences to present his research and findings, is regularly called to be an expert witness in court cases, and has lectured at universities and institutions across the globe for the past 28 years.
Oh, and he also writes for a whole bunch of packaging magazines… and acts as an adviser to help out companies like us.
Pierre is a registered Certified Packaging Professional in over 60 countries and is the packaging engineer for his very own packaging consulting business, PackTech Solutions.
He holds a professorship in Packaging Engineering and is the National Education Director of the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) and the President of the World Packaging Organisation (WPO).
